RE/MAX Trinity Sales Associate Rebecca Carlson has been named Agent of the Quarter for the Tarrant County Real Estate Council. A former school teacher in Houston, Rebecca relocated to Dallas with her builder husband. With his death in 1985, Rebecca needed a way to support herself. “When I sold my property years ago, the broker I worked with encouraged me to join the business,” explains Rebecca, who actually assisted her Realtor with showing the property. “I did some research on the proper way to show a home and aided my Realtor consistently when she could not make it.”
Since becoming a Realtor, Rebecca has known immense success in the Metroplex and has become a staple of Fort Worth real Estate. But it may be her leadership qualities that makes Rebecca truly stand out. She has been extensively involved in Women’s Council of Realtors® on all levels as a former State Governor, Regional Vice President of a five-state area and former President of her local chapter. In 1997, she was named ‘Realtor of the Year” for Northeast Tarrant County.
Rebecca feels her location is experiencing extreme growth that will only continue in the coming years. “Fort Worth’s day is here. Here we are positioned for high growth on all ends,” Rebecca states. “Downtown Fort Worth is one of the best downtown areas in the Metroplex and it is more affordable than other areas as well.”
Rebecca is no stranger to RE/MAX® either, having been a member of the network twice before. “I work in downtown Fort Worth and when RE/MAX Trinity opened earlier this year, it was a great opportunity to go back to RE/MAX,” she says. RE/MAX Trinity Co-Owner Jaci Coan added her delight at having Rebecca as part of the office. “She has so much to offer because of her heavy community involvement,” says Jaci. “She is very well known in Forth Worth and has qualities that fit perfectly with RE/MAX.”
Beyond her involvement with the WCR, Rebecca is heavily involved in community service projects. Among those are: the Open Arms program for battered women and families, Northeast Tarrant County and Fort Worth Women’s Shelters, Grapevine Historical Society, Grapevine Festivals Commission and many more. In her spare time, Rebecca loves to cook. “I like it all, from pinto beans and cornbread to Steak Diane,” she says. Her favorite dessert is Crème Brule.
