Cypress, TX - April 9, 2007 - RE/MAX of Texas is pleased to announce the opening of RE/MAX Realty Center, located in the CyFair Professional Building at the corner of Skinner and Spring Cypress, adjacent to Highway 290 and directly across from a large school complex. Broker/Owner and RE/MAX® veteran Gayla Skates has spared no expense in setting up her office with all the amenities for both her Associates and their clients. Even though Gayla was previously a successful agent, as Broker she now plans to manage, train and lead her office and lend her complete support to her agents.

“We’ve gone really high tech for our new office,” said Gayla. “Our lobby has a 42-inch flat screen television which rotates our agents’ pictures all day, a 60-inch flat screen streaming the RE/MAX Satellite Network in our conference room as well as the latest phone and computer system.” The office also provides a consultation room for agents to meet with clients and an atmosphere designed to be welcoming to agents, recruits and visitors.

Servicing the areas of Cypress, Houston, Spring, Katy and Tomball, RE/MAX Realty Center is home to 20 agents with room for more. “The large amount of new construction is a huge draw for Cypress,” continued Gayla. “We are blessed to have agents who can meet the multitude of the area’s needs.”  The office has newly-licensed as well as seasoned veteran agents, many holding various Realtor designations, such as the ABR designation.

RE/MAX Realty Center has begun a special program called ‘Lunch and Learn’, which features a new guest providing lunch and a presentation to the staff every Friday.  Guests include loan officers, insurance agents and marketing professionals from around the area, who provide the staff with a well-rounded lesson on their business. The program has proven so popular that the office’s Fridays are booked through August!

“Our new recruits have really embraced the entire idea of RE/MAX,” Gayla concludes. “We have signed on to become a ‘Miracle Office’ and our grand opening on May 19th featured the colossal RE/MAX Balloon. So we are ready to roll.”
