When it comes to knowing his business in and out, Al Nix of RE/MAX Preston Road has it covered. So it was with much pride and confidence that RE/MAX Preston Road Broker/Owner Frank Hayward announced Al as their new General Manager. “We are delighted and proud that Al will help lead us into our 23rd year,” comments Frank. A member of the RE/MAX® network since 1999, Al has earned 100% Club membership status every year since and was one of Texas’ Top 20 producers in 2005, definitely a perennial success!
Before starting in sales, Al gained a wealth of knowledge representing high-profile commercial and industrial clients as a property tax consultant. A life-long resident of the Metroplex, Al consulted on many of Dallas’ landmark buildings and multiuse projects. Yet throughout he always held an interest in real estate. “It was the element of human interaction in real estate that drew me away from consulting,” notes Al, who received his license in 1971.
Now Al is ready for the future of Preston Road. Some of his initiatives include increasing productivity with an emphasis on sales and marketing along with increasing the number of agents and supporting staff. “I also want to utilize the online technology RE/MAX provides,” states Al who believes every agent in the network should have a remax.net email address. “There is no reason why every agent and office shouldn’t take full advantage of such cutting-edge technology.”
