Pipe Creek, TX – July 3, 2007 - RE/MAX of Texas is pleased to announce the opening of RE/MAX Lake & Hill Country and their new office facility located just 30 minutes from San Antonio in Pipe Creek. Office Manager and 20-year real estate veteran Fernando Trevino heads up operations Owner/Builder Paul Tausch joined RE/MAX in January of 2007. New agent Laksmi Taylor and Marie Chappelle, who will be the company’s trainer, rounds out the present team with 14 years of real estate experience and five years as President of the San Antonio Board of Realtors Farm and Ranch Committee.

“The Hill Country has a little bit of everything,” notes Fernando. “We have lake property of all prices. Bandera and Pipe Creek are experiencing a great deal of growth. It’s a great location for people who want to get out of the city.” In their newly built office just off highway 16, the team at RE/MAX Lake & Hill Country plans to expand their number to 10 agents and move their location to Bandera when property becomes available.  Currently, the team is specializing in residential sales, commercial leasing and farm and ranch.

“Our office will be geared toward education,” continues Fernando. “We will be utilizing the RE/MAX Satellite Network for agent training, taking Brian Buffini’s 100 Days to Greatness seminar, encouraging personal agent websites, and using Remax.com and LeadStreet heavily.” Associate Marie Chappelle, who has been involved with Komen for the Cure® and Children’s Miracle Network® for several years, hopes to make the office a ‘Miracle Office’

“I want to get our office involved in the community,” Marie relates. “We’ve joined the local chamber of commerce and personally invited all the business on Main Street to our grand opening BBQ event which entertained about 250 local merchants and residents. We definitely got the word out to the neighborhood that we’ve arrived.”
