RE/MAX of Texas is pleased to announce the opening of RE/MAX Goldstar in Brownwood and welcome owner Stan Crawford into the RE/MAX® network. Stan has leased two office suites to house RE/MAX Goldstar on one of Brownwood’s highest traffic areas. The office services the areas of Early, Lake Brownwood, Comanche and Coleman.

With an extensive history of success in management, Stan became an agent for an independent real estate company in 2001 after 20 years as a partner and owner in the grocery distribution industry. “I switched over to RE/MAX because of the added benefits for agents in this network and the fantastic brand behind it,” comments Stan, who has already received several listings which he credits to RE/MAX brand recognition. “People in this area know RE/MAX and they want to work with a company they are familiar with.” Stan is also a Rural Development Certified agent with additional training to assist buyers in obtaining low cost and zero down loans, and has served as a director of the Brownwood Board of Realtors for three years and as President of the Board in 2005.

Starting off small, but with no intensions of staying so, Stan has hit the ground running and preparing to bring more agents into the fold. “I’m looking to expand my staff to accommodate our area’s growth,” continues Stan. “Brownwood is home to about 21,000 residents and their real estate needs are across the board.” Stan intends to keep his business involved in every area of real estate from residential and commercial real estate, to raw land and farm & ranch service.

The office will also host the RE/MAX Satellite network to increase the knowledge base and professional designations of its agents. Stan Crawford has a keen interest in charity which he will also bring into RE/MAX Goldstar. The office has interest in becoming a ‘Miracle Office’ by which each sales associate will make a contribution from each transaction to Children’s Miracle Network®.

 Stan and his wife Candy are longtime members of First Christian Church in Brownwoodand are the proud grandparents of Katie Meinecke, age 5 and Claire Meinecke,age 17 months. Their daughter Christy and her husband Dale Meinecke  live in Comanche, Texas where he is the pastor of East Side Baptist Church.
