Owners Jayne and Waymond Lightfoot are as unique as their town. They made the decision to embark on careers in real estate after heavy industry research and the recommendation of their daughter, RE/MAX Genesis Co-Owner Shalyn McCumber. “RE/MAX made us want to become real estate agents,” comments Waymond, who along with his wife, earned his agent’s license in November 2006 along. “When searching for new careers, we searched for the best business. RE/MAX was at the head of the class.”   

Residents of Blanco for the past 15 yeas, Jayne and Waymond hold great love for their community and intend to focus on Farm and Ranch real estate. “We want to expand into different areas of expertise in real estate as the need arises for it,” continues Waymond, who intends to pursue his Broker’s license and certifications in commercial real estate. “We would like the community’s needs dictate the kind of education we pursue.”

RE/MAX Genesis will host the RE/MAX Satellite Network in their office so that their agents can benefit from the 60 monthly hours of educational programming it provides. The office will also be a ‘Miracle Office’, whereby each Associate will contribute an amount to Children’s Miracle Network®. In addition, the office plans to provide the “How Hot Air Rises” educational program at the local elementary school.
