Newly christened RE/MAX Elite, the office was purchased from longtime owners Joan and Britt Massie by Norma and Cesar Hinojosa. Norma, with a background in finance is a native Texan who joined RE/MAX® in 2004.
“I began working for a large investment firm after moving back home from Houston, but I was frustrated by the position’s income cap” says Norma, who reached platinum club status in 2006. “I saw the success of real estate agents and also the independence their careers provided them, and I decided to go for it. In only two short years, I have found amazing success with RE/MAX.”
Servicing the areas of McAllen, Mission, Sharyland and Edinburg, RE/MAX Elite has a unique advantage as a completely bilingual office. “Being a border town, we deal with many clients from Mexico. It is an invaluable asset to our business that our agents have linguistic and cultural fluency,” continues Norma. The office of five accomplished Associates will continue to provide residential real estate services but plans to expand both their staff and focus into investment properties and online marketing in the future.
