San Antonio, TX – October 24, 2007 - RE/MAX North Central Sales Associates Michelle Wright has been named Agent of the Quarter for the San Antonio Real Estate Council. Michelle is passionate about real estate. From an early age, this Realtor from Arkansas was exposed to the business through her parents, one a custom builder, the other involved in the mortgage business. “Our Sunday drives consisted of traveling out to my father’s job sites,” Michelle relates. “We had enough blue prints in our house to wallpaper my bedroom.” It may be this early exposure that cemented Michelle’s dream of becoming an agent.
After moving eight times during her first 12 years of marriage, Michelle and her family settled in McKinney where they have been for the last nine years. “I put my foot down when we came to McKinney,” says Michelle. “I knew I had found home.” Now settled in a permanent location, and approaching her 40th birthday, Michelle asked herself what she wanted for her birthday, a new car, an exotic trip maybe? “It took about two seconds for an answer, I wanted my real estate license. It was the first thing that entered my mind.”
Michelle was licensed in 2002 and won a “Rookie of the Year” award from her first company, bringing in approximately $6 million in transactions her first year. In 2006, she was aggressively recruited by RE/MAX North Central and after six months of persistence, decided to join. “Joining RE/MAX has been wonderful,” she claims. “I never imagined I would have such an incredible year; I’m delighted to be a RE/MAX Agent.”
In the future, Michelle looks to grow and expand her career with marketing and by building on her business relationships. “People tell me I have a real passion for this business. I feel blessed to be doing something I enjoy so much and developing lifelong relationships during the process. It’s what I want to do for the rest of my life,” Michelle exclaims. “I think my love for the job contributes heavily to my success.
