RE/MAX Beaumont Sales Associate has been named Agent of the Quarter for the Vanguard Real Estate Council. Top producing Sales Associate Libby Mitchell of RE/MAX Beaumont was born and raised in the southeast region of Texas known as the ‘Golden Triangle’. With transactions in excess of $18 million in the last 12 months for the Mitchell team, that name might be a tad prophetic! Specializing in commercial and residential real estate, she is a member of the RE/MAX Hall of Fame and was honored with a ‘Salesperson of the Year’ award from the Beaumont Board of Realtors for 2006.

It is clear that Libby Mitchell has been a natural salesperson from the start. “I started my career in sales when I was nine years old, collecting sticks and pine cones from our neighbors’ lawns. I then went door-to-door selling them back in bundles as ‘fire starters’,” says Libby of her beginnings. “When I was a stay-at-home Mom, I read books on real estate and found it interesting. When my children started school I decided to pursue a career that would afford me some flexibility and give me opportunity for ‘no limits’ success.”

Libby was licensed in 2000 and has consistently ranked among the Top 20 Teams in the Vanguard Council for the past several years. Since starting her career, she has developed a versatile competence in the industry, handling everything from new and luxury homes, to corporate relocations and commercial properties and consulting for investors and developers. With each transaction, Libby raises the bar for complete client service and satisfaction.

“I believe true success is earned through creating the ‘wow’ factor by setting high standards,” she continues. “Delivering even more than you promised is a pleasant surprise to every client, and in turn they gladly refer their friends and family to you.” To help her achieve this end, Libby has outstanding support from her partner and husband Barney and two part-time assistants, Tracy Mott and Christina Linscomb.
