RE/MAX of Texas is proud to announce the opening of RE/MAX Advantage in Killeen.  Servicing the areas of Fort Hood, Harker Heights and Belton and located at 2100 Trimmier, suite 104, the new office has a prime location. It is situated near Highway 190, adjacent to two elementary schools and specializes in all kinds of real estate from residential sales to commercial leasing.

“Our area is in constant transition with a large retired military community,” notes RE/MAX Advantage Broker/Owner Freddy Guerrero, who first joined RE/MAX in 1996 before opening his own independent office.  “We also have lots of out-of-state investors interested in the area and property value is rising, which helps the community to grow.  Killeen is known as one of the most undervalued communities in the US.”

Freddy, who comes from a background in International Marketing, started in real estate in 1993 after witnessing his father’s experience buying a house.  “I really felt my father was taken advantage of and felt I could do a better job,” continues Freddy.  This newly-sparked interest led to a real estate license and some true sweat equity.  “I worked very hard in that first year.  It took me about eight months to get my first sale, and they have been coming ever since.”

Freddy and his 10 Associates are already enjoying the tools RE/MAX brings to their office.  The team at RE/MAX Advantage utilizes LeadStreet, the industry’s most comprehensive lead generation system, to obtain leads and generate business.  “I make sure each Associate understands and uses LeadStreet.  I currently have eight leads as a result of it.”

Another important aspect of RE/MAX Advantage is its support of the Alliance for Lupus Research, an organization devoted to fighting the disease.  The new office has even joined with other real estate offices in their area to host a “Walk with Us” campaign to prevent, treat and find a cure for Lupus.
