“If you can’t have fun in your day to day life, then something isn’t right,” says Jan Ramsey of her experience in real estate. A native of Kansas, Jan grew up on a farm outside Wichita and attended Wichita University where she majored in General Studies and Journalism before embarking on a career in Public Relations for a major corporation. “When my youngest daughter graduated from college, I decided it was time for something new,” says Jan.

Now, as a successful Realtor with 10 years of Texas residency under her belt, Jan is embarking on her seventh year in real estate and with RE/MAX®. “I chose RE/MAX from my own personal experience as a client,” continues Jan, who bought her home through RE/MAX. Today, the North Tarrant County area is exploding in the residential sector and Jan has assembled her team of experts, consisting of two of her daughters and her daughter-in-law, to take on the needs of the community.

“Our team works wonderfully both as not just a team but also as individuals. We each bring our unique skill and knowledge of the community to the table and that has made a huge difference in our success,” notes Jan. “At the beginning of every year, we set several goals for our team and this year we all intend to achieve our GRI designation.”  Two members of Jan’s team, Becky and Jacque have taken 100 Days to Greatness with Brian Buffini and Jennifer will be attending a session in April 2007. Jan herself was introduced to Brian Buffini within her first five days with RE/MAX and has remained an active disciple of his referral system ever since.

When not hard at work with her team, Jan is a devoted member of the Grapevine Rotary Club and has been a board member on and off for the past 8 years. “I used to work for a non profit company prior to real estate and that gave me an appreciation for giving back to the community,” says Jan, who just returned from a Rotary Club trip to Mexico City where volunteers helped to paint a school. “There is always a need to be found somewhere in any community and I delight in being able to fulfill it.”
