Realtors and agents around the Houston gathered the past February to benefit TREPAC at the 3rd annual Houston Association of REALTORS® Fort Bend Denim & Diamonds Event.
The event, intended for networking, socializing and fundraising, was attended by dozens of RE/MAX® Associates, among them RE/MAX Plantation Broker/Owner Norwood “Buddy” Williams Jr. along with several of his associates. The event included a live and silent auction, Dancing with the Stars competition, a seated dinner and Sweepstakes featuring the grand prize of a six carat diamond bracelet.
Buddy and his wife Belinda took part in the Dancing with the Stars competition, cheered on by their agents. The couple also competed in both auctions, winning two items in the live auction and contributing heavily to TREPAC. “It was a great night of fun and we raised a lot of money for TREPAC,” says Buddy, who is also an ardent supporter of Children’s Miracle Network®, the RE/MAX designated charity.
The evening also featured a Spring Fashion Show. Modeling the stunning and cutting edge outfits were many from the RE/MAX network including: Greg Bennett of RE/MAX Success, Julius Zatopek of RE/MAX on the Brazos, Mario Rios of RE/MAX Fine Properties, Barbara Osborne of RE/MAX Heritage and Bette Lemon of RE/MAX Southwest. The evening proved a great success raising more than $16,000 for TREPAC.
