Rick Ott’s clients and associates would probably guess Rick is a professional comedian rather than a former Platoon Sergeant or a Sales Professional for RE/MAX Platinum II in Harker Heights.  His humorous approach to life keeps home buyers calling and sellers coming back for the “RE/MAX® Experience” with lots of laughs at no extra charge. 

Rick’s former Sergeant sold him his first home and convinced Rick to go into real estate after ten years in the U. S. Army.  Rick, ASR. (Accredited Seller's Representative, a RealtorU(R) designation), now leads a six member team, and says, “We have a fantastic office environment and a very healthy attitude towards our competitors.  RE/MAX Platinum II holds frequent training sessions and all of the Sales Associates and other agents know they can call me or Gilbert (Quinones), our Broker/Owner, anytime.  In turn, everyone seems to go out of their way to show our listings.”  Rick finds that he frequently represents sellers while other team members focus on buyers and the transactional side of real estate.

Rick’s helpfulness does not stop at the office.  He is a supporter of many grassroots charities and RE/MAX Platinum II plus a few friends and neighbors held a car wash recently to help a leukemia patient pay her bills.

“RE/MAX has the power of advertising.  Everyone knows the RE/MAX name and the balloon.  I wanted to grow financially and RE/MAX was the only way to go!” said Rick of his move from another company.  His dedication to RE/MAX is close to his heart as he sports a red, white and blue hot air balloon tattoo on his chest.
