“I started the new millennium doing what I always wanted, selling real estate!” exclaimed Donna Beck of RE/MAX Northwest in Sour Lake. Her previous professional background was strictly corporate, and making the leap into an entrepreneurial real estate career was a dramatic change. “Jeannie Turk, Owner of RE/MAX Northwest, is an inspiration to me. She has taught me so much, and, most importantly, to focus on the positive. When I count my blessings, Jeannie is at the top of my list!”
Donna also insists that Hester Bell of RE/MAX Beaumont is her other mentor extraordinaire, and has helped her diversify her residential real estate career. Donna’s commercial clients include the City of Beaumont, a national non-profit organization, retail leasing customers, and Kerwin Construction, a California home builder moving into Jefferson County. Her years of administrative experience with Fortune 500 corporations also gave Donna a corporate insider’s view of commercial real estate. The RE/MAX Satellite Network®, on-line courses and long hours of “hands-on” work have also helped Donna transition into the commercial market.
RE/MAX Northwest works as a team, and the group is much more like a family than working associates, which has enabled Donna to pursue new commercial clients. She is very excited to have the opportunity to work with a builder, as home construction is her second love. “I have always been drawn to the building industry, and now I can follow the houses from groundbreaking to move-in,” said Donna.
Specializing in upscale areas north and west of Beaumont, including rural areas such as Lumberton and Silsbee, Donna says that her ultimate mission is to offer excellent customer service that achieves her client’s real estate goals, “I listen to my clients’ concerns and deliver results.”
